Beach

The youth beach season begins in late May and winds up with provincial championships in August.  There are many events throughout the province during the summer.  For elite beach volleyball, the Western 16’s Elite Championships and Canadian National Championships are available.  More information will be available in the Spring through Volleyball BC.  Beach Clubs are starting to form throughout the province and are providing athletes will a new venue to enjoy the game.

With fewer players on the court beach volleyball provides a great way for players to have more touches of the ball and improve skills.  The setting for most tournaments isn't too bad either!
