Coach Schick
Coach Schick
is in his 7th season as the UBC Thunderbirds head coach, taking
the team to the post-season for the past six seasons including
two trips to the CIS championships. Prior to coming to UBC, he
was head coach of the U of Alberta Golden Bears. He has also
been named both Canada West and CIS Coach of the Year for
'02-'03. As a player, Coach Schick has played professional
volleyball in Germany, he was a Canada West All Star member of
the National Champions U of A Golden Bears team '96-97, and a
member of the CCAA Championship team from Red Deer College for
two consecutive seasons.
